Player Bio and Testimonial

I am the son of a former collegiate hockey player as well as a professional baseball player. I play left wing. My love for ice hockey started at a young age through skating in the backyard and watching college/pro hockey on Saturdays and Sundays with my dad. Through many conversations with my dad and other coaches, I have learned the intricacies of the position and that hard work is not a choice but a necessity to become a great player in this difficult game of hockey. I embrace competition to the utmost and understand that a lack of competitiveness is unacceptable when attempting to reach my immediate goal of playing in college and my ultimate goal of playing in the NHL. I am heading into my junior year and have been a starter since my freshman year. I love the team aspect of the game no matter if it’s in the fall during my high school season or in the summer playing the Junior circuit. I believe my above-average IQ for the game and position along with my speed, quickness, ability to stop/change directions and shot skills put me in a great position to be able to play at the next level.
