Player Bio and Testimonial
Hello, I am a third generation basketball athlete in my family with my grandpa and my mom both playing in high school and in college. I am a powerful offensive player that also likes to grab my rebounds and help my team win. I was born in southern CA, but moved to northern Virginia 4 years ago. My love for basketball started with my mom taking me to the local high school games and then being around great coaches that spent their valuable time with me teaching the fun of the game and how hard work and dedication can help you achieve your dreams. I have always played on elite teams since I was young and love the high level of competition we always faced. I am now a senior this year and going into my 4th year starting on Varsity at Virginia High School. My dream is to play college basketball and then professionally. I feel with my ability to shoot from both sides with great accuracy and play defense with plus instincts and quick feet, I can play at the next level. I love the game, love the challenge, love the game.

I have seen 1000's of young ladies take the court to go out and win a ballgame, but Gretchen's approach is hands down one of the best I have seen with. her winning team focused attitude and ability to rally up in times when we are down to motivate not only herself but the entire team too. Her ball handling skills set her apart with her natural shooting ability to score beyond the 3 line is amazing.
