Softball is a huge passion of mine and I have learned to grow along the way in many aspects, while playing it. I love this sport because you get to have another family on and off the field, who support you through everything. My love for this sport has continued to grow over the years because it teaches you how to be a well rounded person and athlete, along with being tough, physically and mentally. I want to become an even stronger and better player than I am now, there is always room for improvement. I want to go to college and be able to play softball with a great group of girls. I am very physically strong and am pretty strong mentally as well. I am really looking forward to the future I have ahead of me with the love of the game.

From Coach LP: Ava is an absolutely wonderful athlete to coach. She gets along with everyone she meets and is a great light on the team. She has phenomenal athleticism and moves extremely smooth on the field. Defensively, she has great range and is never afraid to lay out for a ball in the gap. She has an extremely high softball IQ knowing exactly where to go with the ball every time it is hit to her. Offensively, don't let her size fool you, this kid has a ton of pop! Once on base, she takes advantage of every opening and love to push the boundaries and challenge defenses. She is extremely coachable and loves to put in work. On the mound, she competes extremely hard. She hits spots well and has a nasty changeup. She can throw to all planes and really thrives using this to keep hitters off balance.
