Hunter Smolinski

My name is Hunter Smolinski but many people know me by the nickname “Scuba” I am a left-handed hitting middle infielder from Fruita, Colorado. I have played infield my whole life and believe I have a good feel for all of the infield positions. I hit from the left side of the plate and always try to have competitive at-bats and be a tough out. It has been a goal of mine since I was little to play baseball at the collegiate and someday the professional level. Coming from a smaller town, I am used to being away from home given the fact I have to travel to play good competition. Off the field, I do pretty well in the classroom holding a 4.2 GPA after my sophomore year. I understand that the academics are a big part of college baseball and it has always been a priority of mine to keep my grades up. With my love of competition and passion for the game of baseball, I believe that I am fully capable of playing at the next level.
